Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser Pie Hole Wood Pizza

The Fort Pierce Woman’s Club is kindly asking everyone to join along with them to help make something very special happen! This month and next month we will be focusing on childhood cancer and working together to obtain the needed supplies, baked goods and toys to help raise money and support. “Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation”, and a cancer unit.🍋 Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is a charity organization that helps fund money for childhood cancer research, raise awareness, and by supporting families. Every year a dear local friend of the FPWC puts together her lemonade stands and sells lemonade and baked goods in honor of her own young son that had passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She raises money through her lemonade stands to help support this very touching and meaningful foundation.

🍋 The woman of The Fort Pierce Woman’s Club is asking the help of our friends and our community to join along with us and please consider helping in one of 4 ways.🍋

1) There are some very much needed supplies for these lemonade stands that help make these events happen! You can click on the ‘Wish List’ marked “supplies” to help purchase those!

2) There is also a Toy Drive going on! This ‘Wish List” was put together by the staff of the one of the cancer units that her son had been treated at. It is composed of arts and crafts, things that can be played with at their bed, and some larger crafting machines that would bring such joy to the cancer unit where all the children can craft on. Imagine being able to supply one of those crafting machines so that the children could make and customize things for their rooms! 😊 It would really cheer them up! (Please purchase toys only from this list and have it send to the address provided- Please do not bring any toys to the lemonade stand events- thank you)

3) We need bakers!!🍰 If you are interested in baking for one or both of the events (April 9 & 14th) Please email Nadine Alberto at: [email protected] to be put on the baking list for either one or both days. Please note: There are specific instructions on how it needs to be prepared and I would be happy to supply that to you upon request if you are signing up to bake.
